YOU WANT TO HAVE IT PERFECT ??? !!!
If yes, go on to read.....
THE SENSES TO RESTORE THE RADIO CABINET :
These old Radios have mostly Nitro Varnish plus a particle color finish.
During the age the Nitro Varnish which was used in the 50s the solid body content of the Varnish has lost its structure. This means: The Cabinet looks in original condition never perfect.
There are scratches on it plus chips of the broken nitro varnish. Thats a normal and logical situation for an antique item.
We are as restoration company specialized to give these radio cabinets again a real shiny flat mirror finish.
It would fill more sites to explain You detailed what a time intensive work it is to give these radio cabinets a perfect finish. There are not many companies outside anymore which are doing the same job like we are doing., because 40% of this finish works are handmade craftman's work.
Believe it please that a finish is not just done with a bit clear varnish...Its a totally different process as you would tint a car for example.
You can add this radio to your shopping cart and pay it. We take the payment for the radio in this condition ( electronics restored but no cabinet restoration) as down payment. After you ve paid the item we get in contact with you and talk about the restoration services and your personal wishes for the restoration.
The Final balance ( additonal Costs ) for the Cabinet REstoration Service we will request AFTER the Cabinet has been restored Before we ship the radio to you.
